Our 3-Hour Favela Walking Tour aims to educate you about life in a Favela which is such a big part of the culture of Rio de Janeiro. In addition to that, see how residents live and learn about the difficulties Rocinha – the largest Favela in Latin America. Furthermore, we are the only Favela Tour company in Rio which offers tours in the morning and in the afternoon led by a local guide and an extra helper to ensure full attention and comfort for your tour.
This tour may not be suitable for everyone. In other words, we are highly sensitive to the issues surrounding favelas in Rio.
Favela Walking Tour
Nevertheless, it is crucial to state that our tour is non-intrusive and respectful to the community due to the fact that all of our staff is from Rocinha, for instance, our guides, drivers and helpers. Last but not least, our group tour is up to 14 people per guide.
We recommend you to bring a bottle of water and wear light clothes for your tour.
